It Caught Me!

I can honestly say that I get sick about once a year. But when it comes it hits HARD! Well, welcome to my house during moms sick time. Nothing is done. I've done one load of laundry since Friday. Dishes are stacked up, floors need swept and mopped so terribly bad. The kids need to go on a vacation! Yes, I said the kids. Seriously, I just want one maybe two days of rest and recooping and I totally think I would be better. Lucky for me I have the best family ever. Mom and Sis came over last night and took the girls to get dinner. Thank goodness, poor babies had Mac n Cheese Monday night. UGH! BLAH! But they did survive. Mom and Sis broght back some soup for me and I totally scarfed it down! That's what I get for not eating for two days. SO, I am about up on my limit for being off the couch. Just wanted to jot something down so you wouldn't think I was done with this blog life! (love ya H4G!)

Just a final note as I go...

Lots of determination...But MORE procastination

That is what I am dealing with this week.
It has been a week since I've let you into my world. A long week!
I decided that this year was going to be the year to put off the procrastination and let the determination take over. You can see how well that is going! But seriously, it really is going pretty good. First of all my biggest goal was to keep my house sparkly clean and keep the laundry to a minimum. So far so good. I caught up all my laundry last week, I did laundry all day Monday, Tuesday and half of Wednesday but I got it all caught up and put away (yes even put away!). Of course I had to go to the store to buy more hangers because I realized that with ALL the laundry done we didn't have enough hangers for all the clothes! I've done laundry about every other day since then, about two or three loads when done and I've actually kept on top of it. GO ME!
Now, my dad just told me the other day that he didn't understand why a person who stays home ALL day couldn't keep the house sparkly clean. Especially when I could make time to come to his house and clean it every week. Well, little does he know that it is much easier to go to his house which always stays clean and just needs the minimal pick up and major cleaning every so often. And much easier since he gives me money to do it! But, I also got our house sparkly clean about two weeks ago. On Saturday I spent six hours cleaning. Picking up, cleaning rooms, disenfecting bathrooms, disenfecting the kitchen and dining room, sweeping, mopping washing doors, cabinets, walls and whatever else I did. Since then I told myself just a little bit of work a day would keep me from having to clean like that for a long time. Little did I know that that is true! I can't believe the change in the house and myself. It feels sooo good to have a sparkly house. A few pick ups of toys, clothes and such during the day. A load of dishes in the dishwasher a day. One or two loads of laundry a day and everything stays clean. And then I've got the every so often list that I've accomplished every day too. Like cleaning the cat box, dusting, washing cabinets, walls and doors. I've even got the girls dressers and closets cleaned out of clothes that don't fit anymore. Which I'm sure all K's friends appreciate since she is wearing size 8 clothes and was still managing to fit into some size 6 ...wow, bad mom!! So, this is my determination for the year. I am off to a great start and I have to say that it is so much fun to come home to sparkly clean!
NOW, I feel I have to share some truth! Some of my family and friends would say that I've got it easy! Let my tell you why...
My most gracious mother in law didn't know what to get us for Christmas just recently and decided to give us her Sears card and told us to get whatever we wanted. YES, WHATEVER WE WANTED! SO, being the non-shopper of the family I sat my arse at the computer and started looking at sears.com to see what I could find. When I came across the most beatiful gift I could ever get, besides a maid cleaning service.
WHA LA.....

YES the best Christmas gift EVER!! The I-Robot Scooba - The floor washing model that scrubs my house so I don't have to! She will wash every part of my floor with little effort. She has become one of my greatest friends. Yet still has no name, I am stil thinking of the perfect name. I talk to her, watch her with curios amazement and even bathe her after every dirty job. You may call her a cheater; I call her a friend helping to keep the sparkle in our lives.

Yet another day in the life of Psycho Jac

NOI haven't let it go to the dump!
Last night we went to my most favoritist restaurant in the WHOLE world OSAKA. A Japanese Steakhouse. OH MY GOSH! They have the best food ever. YUMM, the white sauce and noodles and mushrooms. OH and the chicken and shrimp and steak. The salad and soup and vegetables. Seriously, I am in love with OSAKA and could eat there every other night of the week. I'm making myself hungry just day dreaming about it. Darn, big daddy took the leftovers(not mine, the girls, I never have leftovers) for lunch. THANKS BABE! I could use those right now.
So by the time we got home the girls had to get to bed. And mommy too! But of course I can't go to sleep right away. I have to watch Big Brother. I am mildly obsessed with reality TV. If it is on, I watch it or DVR it. I don't know why but I have to. So, I watch Big Brother, then I have to watch my Wife Swap. I was just about asleep and hear..BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG....HOLY SH*&! WHAT THE F&%$ WAS THAT? OH MY GOSH, THEIR ON THEIR WAY TO MY ROOM, THEIR GONNA GET ME. All with complete stillness from me and my ears in defcom mode, I slowly, very slowly, reach for the phone. Of course I pick the cordless, why the helk did I pick the cordless, if they are coming to get me they are going to cut the phone lines and then they'll know I'm trying to get help but I won't be able to because the cut the darn phone lines (please be aware that I am changing some words for the impressionable eyes). Stupid me, Stupid stupid me! So I call Big daddy at work...no answer. SHmuck, where the helk are you stupid man! Why in the world are you probably taking your lunch break NOW!?! Answer the freaking phone. So, I call again, and the man got smart and finally answered. With him on the phone I finally got enough courage to get out from under my sheets and go to see if the motion lights are on in the back yard - negative. Ok, after a few minutes, probably more like thirty seconds, but just go with my exaggeration here ok, and with big daddy on the phone I get the courage to open my bedroom door - nothing. I walk around the house and nothing still. Check on the girls - nothing. I did find a bedroom window open and totally freaked out again but the screen was still up so I felt a tad bit better, just a tad though because they could of heard me coming and ran and snuck out of the window and put the screen up real quick so everything just looked normal! So after all this and no obvious reason for the BANGS I walk back out into the dining room and happen to be frightened by a balloon floating up on the ceiling with a string just long enough to get caught in the fan. YES, that's right, the balloon (which I must add here is a balloon leftover from M's birthday which was exactly one month ago) got caught in the fan and whipped around numerous times making all my BANG noises. OH MY GOSH! I couldn't go back to sleep for about twenty minutes!! haha I thought I'd be up all night but I guess I wore myself out, or my blood pressure was so high that I just passed out!
YUP, that is my great story. I can't believe I am such a baby. Scaredy Cat. Please feel free to add any other adjectives you see fit to include. I can't even watch the commercials for scary movies or I get freaked out and have to check under beds, in closets and showers before anyone goes to bed. Seriously I need help! Oh, but that is a whole different day, because you see, I am getting help. Professional help.
